The National Science Foundation (NSF) is calling applications and project proposals for Science Research Project Competition (SRPC) 2026
Who can apply?
- Students of grade 9 - 12 of goverment or private schools.
Eligibility & Criteria:
- Project proposal should prepare according to the NSF guidelines.
- Research Projects can be in any feld of sciences.
- Research project duration should be less than 06 months, Research projects started before January 2026 will not consider for the competition.
- One student can participate in only one research project.
- One school can conduct any number of research projects.
Supervisors will be appointed by the NSF for selected projects.
How to Apply:
Download the application and guidlines from "Downloads" section. The completed applications should be posted to the Director General, National Science Foundation, 47/5, Maitland Place, Colombo 07. with the subject line "SRPC 2026" on or before 31st July 2026
