The 2nd NSF School Research Symposium is scheduled to be held on 10th November 2026 in Colombo. Th is symposium will provide a national platform for the school community to present their research work, fostering an environment where excellence in both students’ and teacher research are duly recognized.
Who can apply?
- School students (Grade 9 and above) from government and private schools
- Teachers, principals, and educators engaged in research across all sciences, including social sciences and education
- Winners of the Kid Naturalist Programme 2025
- Past SRPC Alumni

- Inaugural session with keynote address
- Kids Forum on “Nature and Kids”
- Students Research Forum (parallel sessions)
- Teachers Research Forum (parallel sessions)
- Forum for Past SRPC Alumni
- Inspirational Knowledge Sharing Forum
Important Dates:
14th September 2026 - Extended Abstracts submission
28th September 2026 - Noti cation of acceptance
05th October 2026 - Submission of the camera-ready abstracts
19th October 2026 - Registration deadline
