The 2026 call for applications for an Early-Career Scientist (ECS) to join the SCOR Executive Committee is now open. The Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) is an international, non-governmental organization whose vision is to advance international ocean research, within and across disciplines, by stimulating international cooperation in ocean sciences.
Applicants should be no more than 10 years from PhD, not counting time for family leaves, and should hold an ocean science-related professional position. Applicants should have good communication skills in English, both speaking and writing. Candidates from developing countries are encouraged to apply; candidates do not need to be from SCOR member countries.
