The Global Research Council (GRC) is a virtual organization, dedicated to promote the sharing of data and best practices for high-quality collaboration among funding agencies worldwide. Being the national contact point of the GRC, NSF was represented virtually on 04.11.2025 at its Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia. The discussion focused on two themes; i.e., ‘Inclusive open science and AI for equity justice and sustainability’ and ‘Research for sustainable communities’. NSF was represented at the panel discussion on the latter topic by Ms Thilinakumari Kandanamulla, Senior Scientific Officer of NSF. The panel discussed in detail about the need to focus on inclusivity and co-creation to achieve sustainable community transition to tackle local and regional challenges.
