NSF steps forward to empower local academic and research community with cutting edge knowledge on Bioinformatics

A knowledge sharing programme on Bioinformatics was organized by the NSF on 07th June 2024 in a hybrid mode in which resource person was Dr Chatura Gunasekara, Bioinformatics Programmer/Analyst II at the Baylor College of Medicine - USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center, Hustan, Texas, USA.  An audience of around 65 attended the programme both in-person and online where the resource person shared cutting edge know-how and his experience in applications of Bioinformatics. It was followed by a brief meeting between the resource person and Dr Sepalika Sudasinghe, Director General of NSF to strengthen links.
