NSF enters into strategic partnership with SLT

The National Science Foundation forged a strategic partnership with the Sri Lanka Telecom providing for technical cooperation and research collaboration in a mutually rewarding and reinforcing manner. An MoU in this connection was signed between the two institutions on  24 November 2021 at the NSF.  Prof. Ranjith Senaratne, Chairman of the NSF and Eng. Kiththi Perera, CEO and Eng. Priyantha Fernandez, COO of the SLT were signatories to the MoU. Mr. Ravi Pathmapriya, Actg. Director General.  Mr. Shantha Siri, Head, Division of  International Affairs and Mr. Madhawa Perera, Head, IT Unit of the NSF and Mr.  M.I. Deen, General Manager, Enterprise Solution and  Eng. Prapath Ambegoda, Chief Corporate & Digital Officer of the SLT and Prof. Prasad Jayaweera, Head, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Sri Jayawardenapura were also present.

The MoU would enhance collaboration between the two institutions with a view to improving the socio-economic development of the country with special emphasis on sectors such as agriculture, fisheries and cottage industries through digital intervention.
