This programme facilitates and encourages researchers to conduct trans-disciplinary research by integrating diverse fields of the Social Sciences and Humanities. It is also envisaged to shed light and pointers of insights on inclusive development and well being of the society.
Get ready to submit applications with trans-disciplinary approach aligning with the ‘Research and Development Policy Framework’ of the government, community empowerment, Integrated Village Development plan and national priorities as given in ‘A Thriving Nation, a Beautiful Life’ and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
When submitting proposals to NSF for funding, prospective applicants are expected to pay attention to the following aspects
- Its innovation potential and significance for society, and ultimately the benefit received to the country
- Early career researchers and researchers from underrepresenteduniversities are encouraged to apply.
- The research teams should be multi-disciplinary with appropriateinter-institutional collaborations.
